The Invisible Majority: Unveiling the Microbial World

Event Description: Join the hunt for the microbial world around the academic center of the University of Latvia in Riga through a knowledge based scavenger activity.
During this event, participants will uncover fascinating facts about our invisible companions that silently surround us every day and finding organisms, that were grown from the location of the trivia question.

The hunt begins at the Nature House, on the 5th floor (Biology), starting from 10:00 and is open until 18:00. Alongside the scavenger hunt, you can also enjoy informal informational banners presentations prepared by biology students and graduates specializing in microbiology.

This event is organized with the help of biology students of the UL Faculty of Medicine and Life sciences and from the Microbial Culture Collection of Latvia and is meant for the public - especially students - to explore the world of microbiology in a fun and informal way.
