Join us for Microbial Champions: Women and Youth Driving Innovation in Aquaculture & Health, a dynamic event that celebrates the invisible architects of our ecosystems — microbes — through the lens of sustainability, gender equity, and global health.

Speakers:

  • Dr. Noushin Arfatahery (WISEA/FU Berlin): Marine Microbiology & Gender Perspective

  • Guest speaker from AWI or ICAR (India): Women in Microbial Science

  • Youth representative from Bangladesh or Iran: Microbes and Future Food Systems

Objectives:

  • Raise awareness of microbial roles in aquaculture, AMR, and food safety.

  • Inspire participation from underrepresented groups in microbiological sciences.

  • Highlight grassroots and global projects linking microbiology and community empowerment.
