The event celebrates the historic roots of scientific inquiry in Mesopotamia while highlighting the growing leadership of Iraqi women in medical microbiology, diagnostics, and public health research.

The program brings together keynote speakers, a panel discussion, and platforms for young researchers and students to present their work, with the goal of raising awareness of microorganisms' role in health and disease, promoting antimicrobial resistance awareness, and showcasing the contributions of women scientists in the field. The session will run for four hours (10:00–14:00 Baghdad time) and is open to students, faculty, and professionals across Iraq and the region via an online platform.
