The International Microorganism Day 2026 will be celebrated in Catania (Italy) through an interactive workshop that will be hosted at the school Francesca Morvillo.
Our “DNA tales” will take a start with a story of extremophiles and their role in the search for possible life forms in exoplanets. Then, they will continue showcasing how microbiomes are able to settle in caves and graffiti and how DNA can help shedding light on these microbial communities! Hands-on activities will follow to involve students even more…
