Celebrate International Microorganism Day 2026 on September 17 with the 1st Virtual Symposium: From Antimicrobial Resistance to Immunotherapy, organized by Academia Novedades and endorsed by the Venezuelan Society for Microbiology (Carabobo Chapter).
This half-day online event brings together microbiologists, health professionals, researchers, students, and science enthusiasts to explore the fundamental impact of microorganisms on health, biotechnology, and daily life. Through four keynote lectures, recognized experts—MSc. Dianny Martínez, Lic. Kevin Parra, Dr. Lilia Carrero, and Dr. Darbi Zerpa—will cover cutting-edge topics including atypical beta-lactamases, Blastocystis spp. clinical interpretation, mastitis socio-productive impact, and personalized neoantigen vaccines.
The primary objective is to foster scientific exchange, showcase critical microbiological advances, and inspire the community to appreciate the invisible world shaping modern medicine.
Participation requires a €20 investment (BCV Euro rate) with registration via Google Forms.
