Exploring microorganisms with kids

Event Description: On September 15, an event will be held for primary students belonging to the School N°127 Mary O'Graham in La Plata city (Buenos Aires, Argentina).

An initial presentation will be made on the importance of microorganisms in the clinical area, food and environment under the concept of One Health. Then, in small groups, students will go through different workstations divided into the four main groups of microorganisms: viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. In them, they will develop different recreational activities in which they will put into practice what they learned during the initial talk. They will include interactive, artistic, observational activities, among others. The activities will be carried out by teachers and students of the new Microbiology school at the National University of La Plata.
